Booking Terms & Conditions

At The Swan, we’re committed to making your visit as smooth and enjoyable as possible. To help us prepare your table, team and kitchen, we kindly ask that you read through our booking terms below. These policies ensure fairness for all our guests and allow us to deliver the best possible experience. We truly appreciate your understanding and cooperation.

  • Your booking is not confirmed until you receive an email confirmation. Please check your junk folder if you do not see this, or give us a call if you experience any issues.

  • Your table is secured against your card details. We kindly require a minimum of 2 hours’ notice if you need to cancel or amend your booking. Failing to do so will result in a £10 per person cancellation charge.

  • We kindly ask that you inform us in advance of any changes to your party size so we can allocate a suitable table. Unfortunately, if we are not notified prior to arrival of a reduction in numbers, a £10 per person no-show fee will apply to the missing guests.

  • Please only book for the number of seats you require and add any high chairs needed within the comments section of your booking.

  • For group bookings of 10 guests or more, we require 7 days’ notice should you wish to cancel your reservation.

  • While we cannot guarantee a specific area of The Swan for your table, we will always do our very best to accommodate requests where possible.

  • If you’re bringing a dog, we welcome a maximum of two well-behaved dogs per table. Please add details of any dogs to your booking comments. If we are unable to accommodate, we will be in contact.

  • We do have a cake policy, which can be found on our website under the Celebrations section.
